San Francisco
Five months after the joint production deal ended with KTSF in Northern California, Jay Stone Shih is back to unveil a new show, DIALOGUE 360 (formerly known as “China Crosstalk”). This time, his aim is even loftier.
DIALOGUE 360 is the new and improved version of “China Crosstalk.” It will not only have more of the highest caliber commentators and celebrities the audience has grown to rely on and expect, it will also have more multi-party dialogue with experts around the globe on issues that are relevant and of interest to the audience. The show will also be produced with the latest, state-of-the-art production equipment to give it the most contemporary and elegant look-and-feel.
DIALOGUE 360 is produced by Westone Media, hosted by veteran media personality, Jay Stone Shih. The show will begin to air on August 3, 2006 via KMTP, Channel 32, in the Bay Area; and KBTV, Channel 8, in the Sacramento area. Through working with distributors such as World Channel and individual TV stations, DIALOGUE 360 plans to reach 10 of the largest Chinese-American markets in the U.S. Additionally, DIALOGUE 360 will also be available via its own web site, www.dialogue360.net and other available platforms of distribution.
DIALOGUE 360 (formerly “China Crosstalk”) was conceptualized and brought to the public by its host and producer, Jay Stone Shih in 1997. Since then, Jay Stone Shih has been engaging newsmakers, authors, politicians, entertainers, business leaders, Nobel Prize winners, scientists, professors, Presidential candidates and other notable guests and commentators in interviews in Mandarin.
DIALOGUE 360 (formerly “China Crosstalk”) had its roots in radio. Experiencing popularity early-on, the program migrated to TV. Jay Stone Shih created, produced and hosted "China Crosstalk", which debuted on KTSF in November 2000 as a half-hour-long late-night interview program. The broadcast of “China Crosstalk” marked the first time the Bay Area Chinese community had the ability to direct their questions on air to prominent newsmakers in a television format. Through the years, as the producer and host, Jay Stone Shih has consistently engaged an exceptional range of interviewees including Jackie Chan, Lang Lang, Amy Tan, Joan Chen, Bai Ling, Anchee Min, Iris Chang, Dr. Kai-fu Lee, Dr. Steven Chu, Mayor Ma (Taipei), Harry Wu, Dr. Henry Lee, John Woo, Zhang Yimou, Yuan Yuan Tan, among hundreds of others.
